Cattery of Abyssinian Cats
Beeblebrox alias Zaphod
Zaphod was born in the Litter B.
At that time, Arien gave birth to three kittens, but the fourth one took a long time to come out. When the vet arrived to assess the situation and determine the next steps, the mother cat approached him, gave birth to a large kitten right in front of him — it weighed 120 grams, which is significant given that Arien weighs less than 3.5 kg — and then walked away. As soon as we had revived the kitten, Arien took it away and carried it over to the others. That's how Zaphod came into the world.
From an early age, he was a little different from the others. He did not spend much time eating because he was always busy snooping around and exploring. He also kept giving me gifts, such as teasers and pieces of paper from pouches. When he and his cat friends broke into the bag of treats, he gave me some to share. When potential owners came to collect a kitten, he hid in case he was chosen — he was terrified of being taken away.
He has grown so dear to my heart that I could not bear to give him away. We have been going to shows together ever since he was little. He really enjoys every show he takes part in. He loves it when people admire him. He is just a sweetheart!
